These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dactivity app, website and related services. By creating an account or using Dactivity, you agree to these Terms.

Last updated: September 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dactivity, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

By creating an account, registering for an activity, communicating with other members, or otherwise using Dactivity, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms. You may be required to affirmatively accept these Terms before registering or accessing certain features of the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Dactivity. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Your Account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and to keep it updated.
  • You must not create accounts for anyone other than yourself without permission.
  • You agree to notify us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • We may suspend, restrict or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a safety risk to the Dactivity community.
4. Acceptable Use

Dactivity maintains a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content, abusive behaviour and conduct that threatens the safety or wellbeing of other users.

When using Dactivity, you agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, harassing, abusive, hateful, threatening or unlawful content.
  • Harass, bully, threaten, stalk, intimidate, impersonate or otherwise harm other members.
  • Post or distribute sexually explicit, exploitative or otherwise inappropriate content.
  • Use the platform for spam, scams, fraud, solicitation or deceptive activities.
  • Promote or facilitate violence, criminal activity or other unlawful behaviour.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without permission.
  • Upload malicious code, viruses or other harmful material, or attempt to disrupt or interfere with the services.
  • Use automated means, such as bots, crawlers or scrapers, without our written consent.
  • Re-sell or commercially exploit the services without our permission.
  • Use Dactivity to discriminate against, threaten or target individuals or groups.
5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post, including text, photos, profile information, activity information and messages. By posting content, you grant Dactivity a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and use that content solely to operate, maintain, protect and improve the services.

You are solely responsible for content you post and for ensuring it does not violate any law, these Terms, our Community Standards or the rights of others.

Dactivity may review, filter, restrict, remove or disable access to content that violates these Terms, our Community Standards or applicable law. We may also suspend or permanently terminate accounts responsible for serious or repeated violations.

6. Content Moderation, Reporting and Blocking

Dactivity maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content and abusive behaviour. This includes harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, sexual or exploitative content, scams, fraud, spam, impersonation, unlawful activity and other conduct that violates these Terms or applicable law.

We use reasonable measures to prevent, detect, filter and remove objectionable or prohibited content from the service. Content may be reviewed, filtered, restricted or removed where it violates these Terms, our Community Standards or applicable law.

Users may report objectionable content, inappropriate activity or abusive behaviour through the reporting tools available within Dactivity. Reports may be reviewed by Dactivity and, where appropriate, the reported content may be removed and the account responsible may be suspended or permanently terminated.

Users may also block other users. When a user is blocked, the blocked user's content and interactions will no longer be shown to the blocking user where technically applicable, and the block may be recorded and associated with a safety report or moderation review.

Blocking or reporting a user may notify Dactivity or create a safety/moderation record so that the reported behaviour can be reviewed and appropriate action can be taken.

Dactivity aims to review reports of objectionable content or abusive behaviour promptly and, where appropriate, take action within 24 hours of receiving a valid report. Actions may include removing content, restricting access, suspending an account or permanently terminating the account responsible for the violation.

7. Activities and Real-World Interaction

Dactivity helps people connect around activities, communities and meetings. You participate in any activity, event or interaction with other members entirely at your own risk. Dactivity is not responsible for the conduct of any member or for anything that happens during offline activities arranged through the platform.

Please exercise good judgement, meet in public places when appropriate, protect your personal information, and report any concerning behaviour through the in-app reporting and blocking tools.

8. Prohibited Conduct

We take user safety seriously. Unlawful behaviour, including harassment, stalking, threats, fraud or the use of the platform to commit a crime, may be reported to the relevant authorities.

Dactivity may preserve and disclose information where required by law or in good faith to investigate reports, protect users, prevent harm, enforce these Terms, protect our rights and property, or cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

9. Safety and Community Standards

Dactivity is designed to support respectful connections and positive real-world activities. Users are expected to treat other members with respect and behave responsibly.

Objectionable content, abusive behaviour, harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, fraud, scams, spam and other harmful conduct are not tolerated.

We may take immediate action where necessary to protect users or the Dactivity community, including removing content, restricting features, suspending accounts or permanently terminating accounts.

10. Intellectual Property

The Dactivity name, logo, software, design and all content provided by us are protected by intellectual property laws and remain our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the services without our written permission.

11. Third-Party Services

The services may rely on or link to third-party services, such as payment, mapping, authentication, analytics or notification providers. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or actions of third parties, and your use of such services is subject to their own terms and policies.

12. Account Termination and Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the account deletion option provided in Dactivity. Account deletion is intended to permanently remove your account and associated personal information, subject to information that we may be required to retain by law or that is reasonably necessary for legitimate legal, security or fraud-prevention purposes.

We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive or objectionable behaviour, pose a safety risk, or where termination is required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the services ends. Certain content or information may remain available where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or protect the safety and rights of users and the service.

13. Disclaimers

The services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dactivity, its officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.

Your continued use of the services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Dactivity's operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction for any disputes arising under these Terms.
